Karla Guerrero (1993, Mexico City) photographer, digital curator, and cultural manager, founder of Femgrafia. She received her bachelor's degree in visual communication from Universidad de la Comunicación, her diplomas in Photography from Fundación Pedro Meyer and Academia de Artes Visuales.

Her work is highly influenced by the philosophical vanguard of Phenomenology in the behavior of the gaze, the interactions of oneself between objects, spatial explorations in experiences of transience and absence: memory, loss, and void.

In her new facet as a cultural manager, she worked as an assistant in galleries of photography and contemporary art, develop personal projects such as open calls, digital publications, blog’s interviews, and portfolio reviews in collaboration with international platforms for emerging artists. In 2019 she founded Femgrafia an online platform for promotion and research on the photographic work of emerging and established female photographers in Latin America and Spain where she aims to create a community between spaces and artists for the future study and recognition of female photographers.

Guerrero's work has been featured and reviewed by international platforms including Aesthetica Magazine, GUP Magazine, and Lensculture, exhibited across Europe, the UK, and Mexico, including international fairs such as Cosmos Arles Books, she has obtained the Sony World Photography Award, POY Latam, FOAM Paul Huf Award nominee, and the Lucie Foundation Scholarship shortlist.
